Forms for filing for office are available at the Clerk & Recorder’s office in the Sweet Grass County Annex at 115 West 5th Ave. in Big Timber or the Secretary of State’s website at http://www.sos.mt.gov/Elections.

FEDERAL PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTION FILING DEADLINES
• First day to File – January 11, 2024
• Last day to File – March 11, 2024
When:
• Primary Election – June 4, 2024
• General Election – November 05, 2024
• Declaration for Nomination for County office is available through the Clerk and Recorder’s office. Declarations are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2024.
Close of Registration:
• Primary Election – May 6, 2024. – Late voter registration begins May 7, 2024.
• General Election – October 7, 2024.- Late voter registration begins October 8, 2024.
