JUNIOR FIREFIGHTER PROGRAM

Since its inception in 1996, up to seven positions in the Big Timber Volunteer Fire Department junior program are reserved for high school students looking to jump start their volunteer experience. Junior firefighters are required to have a drivers license and keep good grades. Juniors go through wildland training and can apply for full membership when they turn 18 years old.
